Sadly I really went off plan for dinner last night. It's okay, I'm back on this morning. My downfall was not having enough prepared cm foods in the house. I will remedy that this weekend.

I was feeling very tired yesterday and I guess I was looking for a solution in my food. Silly really.

I refuse to be discouraged. I'm moving forward and downward.

Have a great day everyone!

B: Turkey meatloaf, 1 cup of asparagus fried in butter

Snack: Last of turkey meatloaf

L: McDonalds quarter pounder w/cheese, salad, and maybe hot fudge sundae or small fries.

D: I will be cooking up something cm and yummy for dinner.

Hey Dar, it's ok, I went off plan about 3 days during my first week, and I went off at least 1 day since then. Since I'm considering this a WOL instead of a diet I didn't let it bug me and just went right back on - and the weight is still coming off. Maybe it would have been faster if I hadn't gone off at all but I'm happy, I'm enjoying my food, and I feel so much better!

You're right Rachel. It is a WOL. Thanks for reminding me of that. I was feeling a little down about "sabatoging" my weight loss.

I'm off to make myself a cm breakfast.

Default Hi To All

Hi, My name is Doris and I did CAD quite awhile ago and was very successful but then I got off program and did something new spent lots of money and am heavier than ever. I am going to get back on CAD and will start Nov 1. The reason for the delay is that we are leaving on vacation this Friday. We are going to DH's mother's home in Texas and she does no real cooking everything comes from the frozen section at Sam's I know that I will not be able to get back right while I am there. I want to start when I know that I will be in control of the food so that once I get to day 4 I know that the cravings will have passed. I don't know why when we find something that works we always want something easier. I know that my problem with CAD was the fact that I love cereal and wanted to have it for breakfast. I will just have to get past that problem cause there is no feeling like the in control feeling I had when I was on the CAD program. I hope to be talking with all you from time to time. Doris

Hi Doris, welcome!

I'm still here Patriciakr. I had a shaky weekend. Not too bad but not perfect on plan.

I had an all day meeting yesterday which included a large lunch. As we were waiting for lunch to be served I was congratulating myself on staying on plan as I took a sip of the soda I had been nursing for almost an hour. "doh!" (Homer Simpson moment) Yup, regular soda. I never gave it a thought. I could have easily had club soda but I truly never gave it a thought.

Oh well, I didn't eat any supper last night. I just wasn't hungry.

The scale is hovering at 240 and I'm okay with that, for now.

Have a good day everyone!

B: Tuna and cauliflower salad

L: Spaghetti w/turkey meatballs

D: ? maybe homemade cream of mushroom soup with a little chicken breast on the side.

Doris, welcome. Many of us have replaced CAD by CALP. Are you familiar with that revised program?

Have a nice vacation in Texas!

Hi Dar,

It's funny...over the years, I've found lots of little near oopsies...usually, I'd catch myself just before I took that sip or bite, and chuckle...it was like a little self test of resolve.

You won't do the soda bit again, and yup, you just move on

You know it's funny the two problems that I have with this diet are the fact that I'm not hungry and that it doesn't feel like a diet.

When I'm not hungry I have a tendency to ignore food, including having cm foods ready on hand. And because it doesn't feel like a diet I sometimes forget that I'm "dieting" and accidently eat something without thinking rm/cm.

Not that I'm complaining! These are two of the best "problems" I've ever had when it comes to a diet.

Have a great day everyone!

I've taken a good look at the problems, Dar.

I now wonder whether you've already faced the problem of quick weight loss, too?

Dar, I agree. it is a great way to eat! I'm enjoying not eating until my tummy rumbles feels much more "right" and natural.
