I'm not starting on Monday, but I just started about 3 weeks ago so I'm still fairly new at it.

Welcome though and post your progress and meals on the "hangout" thread.

Take care and see you tomorrow

Welcome to the program!

Even though I have been on the program for months, every day is a new day.

Good luck to you and I hope you enjoy CAD/CALP as much as I do.

Well I made it through the first day (its 10pm in Ireland). Did not find it difficult at all.

I have about 20 pounds to lose (to be honest I think I would be happy with 14). I put on 14 pounds after second baby six years ago and never lost it.

Hope I can do it this time. How is everyone else doing.

I am having some great weeks recenty (I weigh each day, then average on the 7th - something the Hellers recommend doing) so I am happy.

Ireland is a country I never had the chance to visit when we were in Europe during my teen years...I wish we had made it!

Was doing great until the weekend and then lost the plot altogher. I need to get some breakfasts made in advance so I can just grab and eat.

Off to the recipe section. How is everyone else doing?

hi-
hard boiled eggs are great- as are the breakfast crustless quiches that you can have cut and ready to grab. I hate cold eggs, but both of these do great in the micro for a few seconds.
I also pre-cook my turkey bacon and then just have to heat and eat!

Come on over and post in the main thread- you will get more replies. Plus tell us more about how you are doing, what you are doing and who you are!

I am about to experiement with making quiche muffins - figure I can make a small batch of 6 to use for dh and myself and not have them get too old before use.

What has been freeing for me is that breakfast can be anything that I like...it can be a bit of homemade chicken soup, it can be celery sticks with a homemade cream cheese dip (I love to mix diced kalamata olives in with cream cheese, bit of black pepper...yum).

You can take chicken or egg salad with cut celery sticks, and I have a recipe I can pm you for breakfast bars - uses sausage that you make with seasoning and plain ground pork as a base in a casserole dish with eggs plus atop, cut into bars...these are good!
