Default 2003: Weigh In Wednesday

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!
I thought we'd start off the New Year with a new WIW Thread just for 2003. Our other thread was getting pretty long.

I am sorry to report though that I am UP 1.4 pounds this week. It is my own fault of course. I succumbed to several Off Plan Yummies over the past week and now I am reaping the consequences.

However I have now planted my rather over generous hiney smack dab in the middle of the "wagon" and and am hanging on for dear life. Anyone else care to join me?

Hi Molly-
I will join you! I just started SugarBusters yesterday and I am pretty excited about it. It seems to make so much sense and I think its a plan I can stick with.
I look forward to getting to know everyone around here!

Well, since I am new to this I am trying to figure out what is all going on with my body. I was feeling ok, other that a mild headache. But this evening I have been starving. I tried to stave off the hunger with a few nuts. Actually, I ended up eating more than a few(maybe a 1/3 cup) but I was trying so hard to avoid eating any sugar or carbs.

Then I ate split pea and barley soup which as far as I can tell is SB legal(2 g of sugars per serving) but then I messed up and forgot that I should eat my fruit 2 hrs after dinner and I ate an orange.

argh!!...I hope I didn't mess up too bad.

Default Hello Brenda!

I have been seriously working on weight loss for about three years but have been on SB a little over a year. So far I have lost almost 70# on SB. It has by far been the easiest plan for me to follow.

I am looking forward to getting to know you too. We all need each others support here!

Default Darn!

No loss to report this week! THe good news is no gain to report either.

I have to be careful though that my disappointment doesn't lead me to a "what the heck" off plan munchie fest... LOL! I'm sp stressed right now that I could easily do that ... sigh.

bad sugar... bad bad sugar ....

Talking I AM losing weight

I have been following the SB plan for 3 weeks. I have been avoiding the weigh in threads because I weighed too much for my scales to weigh be at the beginning. I thought I still weighed too much. Today my dh showed me I was weighing wrong and causing the scale to malfunction. Holy Smokes I have lost 17 lbs!!!
I will be here for weigh in weekly!! Woo hoo!!

Default Still no loss this week...

Well this isn't really unusual for me to hold steady for a couple weeks in a row but it sure is disappointing ...

Maybe next week ...

Cozy Corner: You are doing great! Good work!

How's everyone else doing?

Hi everyone!!!
It's been awhile since I have been on here. Over the holiday, I gained 11 lbs. YUCK!!!!! Sooo, here I am. I am glad to be back on the SB WOL. I basically started back yesterday on Atkins, but decided to go back on the SB since it is alot less strict. When I told my hubby that I had decided to switch to SB rather than the Atkins, I kinda got upset with his response. He is such a realist and it drives me buggy sometimes!!! I tend to be an idealist and when you put the two together it can make for some pretty interesting times!! Needless to say I wasn't in the best of moods when he left for work. He is so used to me trying this and that and the other, that whenI told my dh I was going to SB he basically said "we'll see what it will be tomorrow". I am in the mindframe that as long as I keep trying, I haven't lost.
Sooo, needless to say, my day wasn't starting off too great, but I do really hope that I can stick to this....I need to.... my health is depending on it!!
