Smile New Senior trying Keto in Illinois

Happy birthday to me Hello to my fellow senior keto dieters Has any senior women have success with the Keto way? I am 66 today, otherwise healthy...my plan is to stay that way by dropping 50 pounds. As most people I have tried almost every diet out there with no success. I love Keto since my appetite has almost disappeared. I live in Plainfield/Shorewood Illinois area if anyone is around...would be happy to join in a workout, sports or just walking.

Welcome dbrown,
There are many "senior" women on this forum, Im 67 and started LC when I was 60. Even better, lost the weight and have been able to keep it off and be healthy. No medications at all, not even an aspirin, great bloodwork and an 11 year cancer survivor.
Check the various sub-forums here, there are topics and buddy groups that may be of special interest to you. There is a section for local support, you could post a message there, or start your own small group support. Tips for that here:

all the best,
