Default How bad are my test results?

Total cholesterol - 299
LDL - 231
HDL - 56
Triglycerides - 62

My doctor was very concerned. She said that my cholesterol is very high and is going to re-test in 6 months. Since I started eating low carb, I also developed a white spot on my eyelid and she said that it is a xanthoma, which is an indication of very high cholesterol.

I think that your levels are very good. I only look at the HDL an triglyceride numbers your triglycerides are nice and low and your HDL is fairly high, both of which show that you have no problem.

Thank you! I feel a little better. That 299 scared me pretty bad. Hopefully, in 6 months, my number will be lower.
