Default high fat and low calorie.

Okay.. been not losing weight. Actually gained a few. I'm thinking due to weight lifting.
I finally tracked my food intake and its over half fat but I noticed that my calorie intake is less than 1500 a day. My protein is about 130g or less carbs around 20-30
I"m full and feel great.
Weird...

Are you asking us what we think?

You are weight stable right?
I think that's a lot of protein and it might be keeping you in the insulin/sugar burning metabolic path instead of the fat-burning one. Depending on how you do your meals.

I do that all the time. I naturally gravitate to tons of protein and not enough fat. I wonder if that is early conditioning or what? I remember as a kid I always wanted more than one hamburger, LOL - I bet my family was low fat even then.

I'm late to the game and you don't mention your fat intake, but I tend to agree....looks like you need to lower the protein in favor of more fat.

Kayla I stalled in April even tho my carbs were under 20g..I looked at my diet and I was eating 80% protien..So for May I ate a avocado almost everyday, slathered Olive Oil Mayo on my beef patties, made egg scrambles with HWC and cheese, drank coconut milk with cinnamon and stevia(YUMMO!) and when I weighed June 3rd I had lost 10 pounds for the month.. So fat is fabulous!!
