Default Another recipe substitution

Have an arugula salad recipe that calls for sprinkled dried cranberries on top.

Would you suggest nuts, or perhaps dried blueberries?

I know the dried cranberries are usually sweetened (unless you dried them yourself), so that is definitely out (a shame, since cranberries are so good without a whole bunch of additives)

I would cut fresh/frozen cranberries into quarters and toss them with artificial sweetener.

Why is it that I can never come up with the logical ideas?

Karen, by the way, your picture is georgeous. I looked at the restaurant website recently, and the photo there doesn't do you justice.

I dunno.

Cooking really is a combination of science - and some people call it art but I call it a craft - plus divine inspiration every now and again. It's really not as mysterious as some like to make it out to be.

Do you mean the picture of me in the weeds? I'm not to fond of it either!
