Today is 40 times and getting ready to do the "Race for Life" Cancer Research run - or rather in our case it's the walk. Clarice, our Curves manager prefers for us to walk - no matter it'll be fun. She has designated me to be team leader to gather our 100 gals together and meet and organise - I know I should never have told her about me being a Scout Leader! (ha ha) Well this is on the 11th so shall jot down lead up and result...

41 times today not bad really - for me that is... to keep up with something for so long - didn't have a weigh in day as I overshot it and I guess I must wait till the beginning of the next month for it - oh well. Still team leader for the Race for Life on Wednesday... oh boy that should be a laugh and a half!

Yesterday I did the Race for Life run/walk at Ferry Meadows it is 3 miles long, and it is to raise cash for Cancer Research. There were 4000 women who entered and the atmosphere was brilliant. I did it in 46.5 minutes so I was really pleased with that. I walked and jogged and walked and jogged etc with a fellow Curves member and it was great. I didn't feel achey this morning at all, no sore legs, bum, nothing really, at all. I am so pleased that I did that race - I will defs be doing it again next year, and hopefully I will be fitter to be able to jog further than I did this time, although real pleased with what I achieved yesterday. Oh yes.
