Default SF Jello Cake

Found recipe in 1965 Jello book that my Grandmother had:

5 packages (3 oz each), any 5 flavors of jello
6-1/4 cups boiling water
2 cups of whip cream or topping

Dissolve one package of Jell-0 in 1 1/4 cups of boiling water. Chill until set but not firm. Add 6 tablespoons of whip topping and beat until well mixed. Spoon into bottom of a 6-cup ring or 9-inch square pan.

Repeat with each remaining layer. Chill for at least 3 hours. Turn out of pan and garnish with whip cream. Makes about 12 servings.

This will cut just like a cake and taste great. People at my work ask for it all the time. A little time consuming to make but well worth the effort!

This sounds good. But since I'm not feeling good today, I really don't understand how you get the layers.. I'm sure I'll figure it out when I'm feeling better. Thank for the recipe.

OK.....now I get it. DUH!!!! Sorry, should have read the direction closely the first time. I was thinking you had to layer jello, whip cream, jello, whip cream etc seperately and I was thinking....wouldn't the jello squish the whip cream and visa versa. I'm usually not this slow
