Default Counting carbs in CAD

I've been on Atkins forever, so I'm not sure how carbs are counted in CAD. When we talk about LC "allowable" foods, are we talking total carbs or net carbs? For instance, on Atkins, you subtract the fiber from the total carbs, leaving you with net carbs. A slice of bread with 9 total carbs may have 6 grams of fiber, therefore is only 3 net carbs. Is this an allowable food? Thanks!

No. The CAD plan doesn't follow the "net carbs" theory. You go by the total carbs.

You don't count carbs. You eat from the allowed lists of foods for the different types of meals.

Yep, you don't count carbs on CAD. Your carbs in your RM are supposed to be balanced with your protein and LC veggies, so you don't need to count them.
