Default What's for Breakfast?

Now that we have our Supper Thread going , I thought it was time to add ideas for our favorite SB Breakfasts.

Here's a few of my faves:

* Breakfast Burritos -- I make them with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage and a little cheese. Then I wrap them up individually and freeze them. You can pop one in the microwave while you are getting ready for work.

* Oatmeal Waffles topped with Spiced Apples

* Quiche -- I often make up the quiche pour it into muffin tins and bake. Then I have quick little quiche muffins to grab each morning for a fast
breakfast

* Molly McMuffins --- egg, cheese, canadian bacon on a WW English Muffin

* Protein Shake

* Roasted Red Peppers and Neufchatel Cheese on WW Toast; sprinkle with a little Parmesan and run under the broiler

* Omelets --- I stuff them with whatever happens to be in the fridge

* Yogurt & Fruit

I know you all have some great ideas --- can't wait to hear them

Hi Molly,

I definitely need breakfast help! Thanks!

BTW, Are the Molly McMuffins your creation?

Default more on breakfast

Hi Marsha!

Have you checked out the Breakfast Recipes on the SB Forum? You may find something yummy there. And please feel free to add your own contributions.

I personally find that I do better with a high protein breakfast rather than a carb breakfast. The Protein keeps me satisfied longer. I think that's a YMMV thing (your mileage may vary). You will need to experiment to figure out what works best for you.

If I have a carb breakfast its usually on the week end... here's some ideas:

Whole Grain Bagel & Cream Cheese
Bran Muffin and Fruit
Shedded Wheat & Bran Cereal topped with berries
Whole Wheat Pancakes
French Toast ( I like to prepare my french toast in the waffle iron)

molly

p.s. The Molly McMuffins are my copy cat version of the famous fast food breakfast

Talking yummy breakfast ideas !!

Molly -

Your breakfast ideas are great ! That has been my worst meal to plan because I eat breakfast when I get to work. I had cereal (the legal kind) a few times last week , but I have heard that milk can stall weight loss... anyone know if that is true? So today I had fresh berries - they were great, but did not hold me as long.

Thanks again Molly - will try some of your ideas!

I made a breakfast quiche using spinach and cheese. It was so yummy!

One thing I have to work on is separating Atkins from SBusters. I have the low-carb, high fat mindset. If I'm not careful, this could spell disaster!
