hi lastchance,

Somebody else just asked this yesterday, here's my reply:
Quote:
When you're typing your message .. you'll see in the left-hand column a menu-box with the little smilie icons in it .. there are 20 smilies showing, or if you select "get more" a small window will pop up with all 51 smilie icons ... You just click on the smilie, and it will appear in your message at the point where you stopped typing (or wherever you place the cursor).

As well, many of the smilies are based on commonly used email-chat emoticons. For instance, if you type : followed by ), a will appear in your post. Likewise, typing : p (no space) will produce ... etc, etc

You can also have a smilie icon to go with your message header. You'll see these right below the box where you type in the subject or title of your post.
hope this helps,

Doreen

Thank you Doreen. However it doesn't seem to work on mine. I click but nothing happens. I wonder if this is because I am on AOL and not Explorer/Netscape? Never mind, I will make my own.

Thanks again
