hi, just wanted to introduce myself. my name is mary andi live in jacksonville, florida. i have been on the akins low carb diet since dec.2000. and have lost from 300lbs. to 222lbs. i still have alot to go but i know now i can do it. sometimes i just need friends to chat with about it, thats all. everyone i know is thin, so they don't know how this weight has effected me.
