Default Exercise- questions

How many of you out there are exercising regularly? what kind of exercise are you doing? What role do you think regular exercise plays in a low carb diet?

I have gotten the exercise thing under control and now I need to get the eating thing under control. The eating part has been harder

hi-
yes, I exercise,. I don't think of it as part of LC, it is a part of life.
I walk 5-6 hours/week, and lift weights or do pilates once/week.

You should see Teri's stuff- she is amazing with her workouts. Look for her posts on the Hour Power and read about her workouts on her journal and on her blog.

My excercise has initially been simply to become mobile (much more so) again., doing a lot of walking in house, out with hubby. I sometimes use (and will be doing so more often) my stationary recumbent bike, and I've bought the starter version of DDP yoga which I am extremely excited about learning.

If you haven't hear of arthur or seen this video it is inspirational in and of itself, how he did it aside:Arthur's Story

I exercise because my goal has always been for me to become fit and healthy.

I can tell you that every second I have put into my exercise program has been well worth it. At 53 years old, I am in better shape than I was when I was a teenager.

My favorite exercise is Walk Away the Pounds, but I also try and fit in my weight training with my Bowflex, and I even do Callanetics on occasion.
