Thumbs up No cheat chili dogs

Chili dogs are a favorite in our house.

We take hamburger and mix in chili seasoning mix and tomato paste. Spoon over hot dogs and top with cheese and onions.

You need to watch your lables. We've found chili seasoning with 0g carbs and some with 12g carbs. They really vary. Same with hot dogs. We like the all beef ones.

I just use a mix of chili powder, white pepper, black pepper, cumin, garlic, cayenne and salt. That way I can control the heat and I don't have to worry about fillers in the seasoning packets.

I make my own chili seasoning and use this recipe: http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Chili-Seasoning-Mix But I substitute almond flour for the cornstarch to get rid of most of the carbs.

Now i'm wanting a chili dog!
