Default Found a LoCarb Snack.

Hi, was in a different area today, and went to their local woolworths. As I am still new to this, I thought I would increase my knowledge about what foods I can and can't have.

Anyhoo, for a giggle I went to the "health food" section. There, near muslie bars was the normal soy/no wheat products. Totally in an out of sight position on the shelf was a product by VOGOL.

It was called SoyVo (I think, I didn't buy it as I am still on induction and won't even tempt myself till I am well off). This product was Sundried Tomato and Basil Soybready stick things. Imagine those old fashioned long and texta thin bread sticks you used to get in italian restaurants, and that is kinda what it looked the product looked like from the picture on the front.

In a serving of 6, you gained 4.5 carbs.

Certainly not something to pig out on, but!!!! They come in small individually snack sized packs inside, so even if one were to eat more than just a couple, to truly pig out, one would have to go and open another packet.

I thought this might be a nice treat for those days when I know I will want 2-3 crunchy sticks for gucamole, pate etc.

Hope this is useful to someone.

Cheers from the Gold Coast.
