Tofurky Sweet Italian Sausage=YUM!

Hi, All!

I'm lc-ing and am eating only fish and non-"meat" protein. I don't do dairly b/c of lactose issues.

Today, I got some Tofurky Sweet Italian Sausage (9 carbs, 7 fiber, 29 protien, 13 total fat, 1.5 sat fat), and it was Wonderful! I sauteed it with olive oil, green and red peppers, and mushrooms, and sprinkled some "fake" parmesan and soy mozzerella on top. YUMMY! This would also be great with marinara sauce or eggplant, I think.

Just wanted to let you know!

Thanks for that tip! those ideas sound delicious! I will have to check that out next time I visit the health food store.

The boca italian sausages are okay too, but the tofurkey brand is so delicious....

Also wanted to say best wishes to ya since I saw we have a similar starting weight and goal!
