just back from an amazing trip-

Sat- a few slices of deli turkey with ranch yogurt dip, string cheese, and a mini bell pepper

Sun- shared chicken lettuce cups with carrots and bean sprouts- skipped the sauce.

Mon- one mini shrimp cake and inside of one fish taco, bloody mary

Tuesday- string cheese and deli turkey with a little yogurt ranch dip

Wednesday- heirloom tomato and fresh mozzarella salad, bloody mary

all were great and perfectly on plan!

today-
wasabi soynuts
3 oz swiss
big bowl of shirataki noodle soup.

I didn't have the "rice" as I thought I would for lunch. Actually I skipped right over it. Didn't mean to, I wasn't hungry, got busy, and now it's almost 3:30.

The bacon and eggs I had for breakfast took care of lunch. I had 3 eggs and 5 strips of bacon. Wow, I always try to eat a regular sized breakfast and not overload myself with food, but the parm and eggs were light and delicious and the Costco bacon was thin strips and too lean. I'll stick with the supermarket pack. Theirs is thick and fatty and I only eat 2-3 strips.

ask and you shall receive!

yesterday i went out for brunch and ordered the lox on a bagel sans the bagel, hoping they would toss a few extra lettuce leaves and tomatoes slices on- maybe a bit of salmon if i was lucky....

well, i guess it looked sparse to chef, because i swear i got like an entire package worth of smoked salmon to roll around my creamcheese, veggies and capers.

SCORE! i plan to return often.

Leftover bacon and egg salad and 2 slices of roast pork. Yes, you scored bigtime!
