Atkins, whole/real food style. Maintenance looks like a cross between Atkins and Paleo for me.

Yes, consistency is the key. Consistently making good choices ='s good results.
Lack of consistently making good choices (or consistently making making bad choices) ='s bad results.
I've been on both sides of the consistency line. lol

I didn't set off to count days on plan. It happened by accident. I was reading someone's journal and they mentioned how many days they'd been 100% on plan. So I counted up mine. I don't remember how many it was at the time. Maybe less than 90 days. But it turned into a game in my head. "How many cheat-free days can I string together?"
What started off as a personal game in my head, has turned into a lot more. Somewhere along the journey I have really come to accept that this is just how I (MUST) eat now.
Maintenance ROUND 2, has been fairly easy since I'm not trying to test the limits of my eating this time. The same foods that got me to goal, are the same foods that keep me there.
Amazingly enough, I've been able to make good choices through all of lifes twists, turns, up and downs without carbage. Not always easy, but doable.

Your weight tracker has always been the most impressive proof of the rewards of consistency on this forum.
Congratulations on two years cheat free!
