65+ lbs, Normal BMI!
After months of plateau, I've recently seen more losses and have managed to reach two milestones at once. 65lbs lost, coincidentally, equated to reaching a BMI that is considered normal (less than 25). At just below 169, I can wear a size 10 very comfortably and am still slowly losing weight.
I quite enjoy going back to my journal just to reflect where I started at a little more than a year and a half ago. I am down 10 sizes and recently took a picture of myself drowning in my old size 20 pants! - which made my fiancé blurt out: "Jeez you were fat!" Men lol...but yes, I was fat, and really was half convinced I didn't look THAT bad. Oh, I looked plump at best haha...and more like downright unhealthy.
Never give up, and trust in the lifestyle. This way of life can't be a short term solution; it takes sticking with it to reap lifelong results. I have gained a happier relationship with myself and food through low-carb, which has helped me have other parts of my life improve as well. I never thought, when I started this, that 150 could be possible...but at this point I might just make it there.
