Cool Mmicky91's workout log

I started exercising today . I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet but I figure I just will start with walking on the treadmills at work for now until I decide what to do. My goal is to do weights, walking and biking. I want to be able to do Walk America in March and this summer bike to Menomonie and back on the bike trail. Soooo my ideas are doing upper body/middle body, walk and bike one day, the next do lower/middle body, walk and bike, alternating the days with one day of rest from all. I could also do upper/middle and walk one day the lower/middle and bike the next day alternating with one day off from all. I could also do same as the last one but on day off from everything do aerobics or yoga or just walk or just bike, etc. I'm not sure yet.
Tonight I did 10 min on the treadmill and 5 min on the bike (I need to figure out how to work it the next time I ride it)

Thumbs up

I'm going to try to keep this updated but I'm one of those people who like to put everything in one place so if anyone reads this and wonders why I'm not writing in it just look at my journal...it might be in there.
Lastnight I walked on the treadmil at work for 25 min.
Tonight I tried the eliptical thingy...it was kind of cool except it made me realize my leg muscles arn't that strong. I only did it for maybe a min but every muscle felt it! I also walked for 11 min on the treadmil. I was going for 25 but I have no energy because of my cold but I made myself exercise just a little.....I figure its better than none at all!!!

Lightbulb

I have been exercising quite well. I have either been walking on the treadmil or stationary bike for 30 min each day with maybe one day not exercising each week. This week there were two days...I think I'm getting bored with just biking and walking. Tonight I tried weightlifting and biking.
Heres what I did tonight:
I don't remember the lbs on the weights but I just used the first three bars on the pullys and for each set I added another weight starting with 1 bar until I had 3 for the final set. Next time I'll write them down.
Leg Press Set 1: 12 reps with 1 weight on pully.
Set 2: 10 reps with 2 weights
Set 3: 8 reps with 3 weights
Leg extension: Set 1: 12 reps
Set 2:10 reps
Set 3: 8 reps
Standing Leg Curl: Set 1:12 reps
Set 2: 10 reps
Set 3: 8 reps
Incline Back Kick: 1 set of 25
Wide Grip pulldown: set1: 15
set 2: 12
set 3: 10
Seated alternating dumbell press: set 1: 15 reps-2lbs
set2:12 reps-3 lbs
set 3: 10 reps-5lbs
Seated alternating dumbell curl: set 1: 15-2lbs
set 2: 12-3lbs
set 3: 10-5lbs
single arm pully pressdown: set 1:15
(these were hard for me) 2: 10
3: 6
Abdominal machine- all I could find is a crunch machine. 1 set of 5 with 10lbs
Seated calf raise 1 set of 25 with 5lbs
Biked 20 min (I didn't do my usual 30 because my leg muscles were hurting from the added weight lifting)
I also was suppose to do Machine chest fly but they had no such machine there. I guess I could do this routine at home even on my big weight bench. I have almost all the right equipment to do it but it is out in the garage and since it's gotten colder.....I'm not sure I will go out there to work out. Besides then my kids can bother me and I will never get my work out done!
