Default Yuck!!!!!

I made bread in my new bread maker. It was awful...The bread I made (Final Bread) is not for a bread machine. I was going to make Gaby's World Famous Bread but it calls for a package of yeast?????? I bought yeast in a can so.....how many teaspoons is in a package? It all seems so complicated. Can I substitute oat flour for white flour so that I do not have all those carbs?
Does anyone have a simple bread recipe that I can make in my new breadmaker????? Help!!!!!slawrie

There is conversation about several bread recipes out in the main Kitchen forum, rather than here in Karen's Korner.....

Gabi's bread does not have any white flour in it. Do you mean gluten flour? It's the thing to use in low carb bread and other baked goods. It weighs in at only 24 gr per cup.

A package of yeast is 2 1/2 tsp. But if a recipe specifies bread machine yeast, that's what you have to use.

I know it seems really complicated at first, but what you have to get your heat around is that LC baking is the complete opposite of carby baking. All the ingredients seem weird and it takes a while to understand how each behaves under certain conditions.
