Default Sukrin?

Has anyone tried Sukrin Fiber Syrup Gold?

It's one of those things that looks too good to be true, which makes me doubt it.

Don't know the product, but real maple syrup only has 14gms carb per tbsp. It's not something I'd ever use, especially since the sugar-free Torani syrups are so good.

15g of carbs is a lot for me - I have a max of 20-25g per day. I think they're betting on the 14g of fiber offsetting the carbs - that doesn't work well for most diabetics. Non-diabetic low-carbers may be able to handle it.

Which one is your favourite and how would you use them?

I'm not bluesinger, but I use Da Vinci syrups - until recently they were cheaper than Torani. The last time I bought a bottle they were the same price. I use them in drinks & desserts. My favorite is adding the sf strawberry to rhubarb - we get both flavors but only the low carbs of the rhubarb. I don't use them a lot, but when I'm craving something sweet they're awfully handy. And they last for a long time on the shelf.

It has malt and unless it specifies, I'd assume it contains gluten. So, if you're avoiding gluten this is probably not a good idea. It is IMO, which is supposed to be low carb, but some people have a BG response to it.
