Recipe for Mock Chocolate Chip Cookies??

I am CRAVING Chocolate chip cookies! They were my favorite treat after ice cream, and I haven't seen s recipe for one.

Due to my chocolate allergies I am used to cutting up chocolate and making my own "chips" but anyone have a base recipe suggestion - no soy flour would be ideal!

She begins her description of the cc cookies with "with this recipe, I assume the title of Low Carb Cookie God"...

I've made them...she ain't lyin'!!!

well it looks like I am going to have to experiment on chocolate chip cookies on my own. I can't find any recipes that don't use soy flour *sigh*.

My question still stands if anyone finds something!

To lose the soy in this recipe, just lose the Bake Mix -- I'd sub the Bake Mix with 1/2 cup vital wheat gluten flour (Arrowhead Mills, Bob's Red Mill, etc.) and increase the almond flour or ground almonds to 1/2 cup.

Excellent! Thanks for the advice. Also my suedo boyfriend got me a book called "Comfort Foods" and they are all LC! I am going through it now and there is a cookie recipe....
