I'm not diagnosed, but I've had bad joint issues since I was 8...I finally started seeing a doctor about it last year and they prescribed a low dose of Elavil...it's the only thing that's worked so far. In July, I got a really bad flare...it didn't actually go away until recently when the doctors upped my Elavil dosage...then I started low carbing and my pain levels dropped significantly! I'm still taking my nightly elavil and 1000 mg of tylenol 3 times a day, but I haven't felt this good in over 7 months!

Lots of folks with gluten intolerance have joint pain. Low carbers usually get the gluten out of their diet, but not always. If the joint pain comes back, check your diet for gluten.
