How much watermelon is allowed on the induction diet?

None. OWL does allow for lower carb fruits like berries canteloupe and honeydew melon but watermelon is way up there in carbsville and contains very little fiber.

Learning to low-carb is a lot to take in all at once and it's probably best to keep on reviewing the Induction and OWL chapters in New Diet Revolution until you are comfortable with what you can and can't eat.

I agree, you need to read the book.

To answer your question, no fruit is unlimited, you must count how many carbs they contain and stay within your critical carb level for losing.

Since you're in induction, I recommend that you leave the fruit out of your diet for a while. Perhaps you could replace them with lots more 'allowed' veggies. That way, you can eat more and be satisfied and probably won't even feel for the fruit for now.
