Talking Brie Baked with Mushrooms and Almonds

This is a recipe I discovered a while ago and thought I should post on here since it is SO delicious!!

Great for parties or just when you want something special. Leftovers taste good too! (if there are any!!)

Here is a link to the original recipe:

http://appetizer.allrecipes.com/AZ/...hrmsndlmnds.asp

I'll post my slightly changed version of it below:

Brie Baked with Mushrooms and Almonds

2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 tablespoons slivered almonds (ranch almond accents work great also!)
6-8 ounces fresh mushrooms (we used creminis! yum!)
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
1 (8 ounce) wedge Brie cheese, coating removed

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Slice mushrooms.

2 Melt the butter in a saute pan over medium heat. Mix in garlic and almonds, heating until almonds are lightly browned, be careful not to burn garlic or almonds. Stir in mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in tarragon.

3 Place Brie in a small, greased baking dish. Spoon the mushroom mixture over Brie. Bake in the preheated oven 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
