Thanks for being so sweet! I still laugh because the recipe was an honest mistake when I paid no attention to what I was doing in the kitchen. But it really did turn out all right. Thankfully, I didn't need the fire extinguisher, anyway!

I made these for the first time this evening from the basic recipe on your blog. They came out perfect! DH and I had simple pastrami sandwiches for dinner and we were both happy!
I didn't want to dig out my hand mixer so I used a wisk for the egg whites...took a little while but I did it(carpal tunnel be damned!)and had no trouble combining the mixtures. Wish I had taken a photo. Thank you so much for these!

Well, I wanted to try some variations, so once I tried whey protein powder(about a Tblsp)to the yolk mixture and found that it liquified the yolk mixture so much that it broke down the whites more than I liked. The rolls still tasted fine, they were just a bit flatter. A Tblsp or so of flaxmeal seemed to work ok and added a more 'bready' flavor...thank you to those who tried it and posted. I don't keep almond flour or coconut flour on hand, but I do use almond butter, so this morning I added about a 1/4 cup of it to the yolk mixture, along with some whey protein, sweetener and flax meal and the batter was perfect for pancakes! It made eight 4" pancakes. Crispy and nutty and DH really liked them. I topped them with smooshed strawberries and whipped cream.
Last night we had meatball sandwiches(slightly altered version of Cleo's)on regular oopsies that I had added some garlic powder and parsley to...yum! Yes, we're probably eating too many oopsies right now, but once the 'romance' wears off, we'll use them more sensibly(but I still need to try the cookie variations, lol).
Thank you again, Cleo!

Thanks for sharing your experience and variations! I am so glad you're having fun with them. Cooking should be fun, and not just because something caught fire in the oven.

I can't believe I just stumbled upon these oopsie rolls! I'm doing LC (again), but never saw them before! Amazing. I have made the original revolution rolls in the past. they were OK, but these totally rock! I can't wait to make a cake, donuts, etc. with them!

While they aren't exactly like a hamburger bun, it sure was nice to HOLD a burger tonight!

I have some LC chocolate mousse in the fridge too, I think for dessert I might cut an oopsie in half and make a mousse sandwich!

I like to take these, toast and put Cary's S/F maple syrup on them, for a kind of French toast taste at breakfast.

I made my first batch ever today!
They came out pretty good, I presented one to Hubby (not into LC) and he had a bit and turned his nose up, I onthe other hand loved them!!!
These are going to be a regular for me!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Here are a few more things I've made with the oopsie dough recently. As you can see, it's pretty versatile:

I'm bumping this for all the newbies to see and a reminder for the "older" LCers.

I love the Oopsie rolls and forgot all about them, till today. I'm going to make me a batch and have them with my breakfast, Mc Muffin anyone?

I don't use cream cheese, though, I use Mayo in its place. You can season them any way you want, mix and match, play with it and see what you like the best.
