Default Keto Diet Food List - what to eat

DietDoctor website has had good information on the difference between Low Carb and Ketogenic diets. Today added a new visual guide for the foods to eat and more important, what NOT to eat to keep it Keto, vs a generic low carb diet.

https://www.dietdoctor.com/keto-foods-eat-not-eat

A good basic guideline, especially for visual leaners, with links to previous articles on related topics, e.g. eat when hungry, particularly natural fats. https://www.dietdoctor.com/how-to-lose-weight#2

That pretty much sums up the foods I eat on a regular basis, minus the nuts and berries. I got my wife a big bag of shelled walnuts and she eats a few oz a day. I have kind of veered away from "high fat" in that I am not adding EXTRA fat to my diet anymore except for one tbsp of coconut oil to my coffee every morning. I am not trying to reduce my fat either. I eat lots of fatty beef, pork, cheese and avocados. My wife wants to avoid beef and pork because of her cancer but not fat necessarily. I just figure we're "keto" because we both turn the test strips pink or purple
