Default About those stalls...

I have read so much about stalls here, and I am wondering how many experience them. Also, are they big ones lasting months? Weeks? Does everyone experience prolonged stalls? What is your experience? I just want to have some idea what to expect. I know all of us are different, but would really like to hear everyone's experience.
Thanks,
Martha

My longest stall was 3 weeks long back in Feb 2004.

And I believe it's not a stall unless it's been 6 weeks or more from what I read.

I have had two slow periods so far, I wouldn't call them stalls as I just sort of slow down and will only lose 1 - 2 lbs over a course of 3 - 4 weeks, then it will pick up again, I am in my second slow period and have only lost about 2 lbs in 2 weeks.

I have decided to go back to using fitday.com yesterday, and I found out that although I am getting plenty of water (7 L), and taking my multivitams and flaxoil, my carb count had dipped to below 15, I am trying as of today tto 20 carbs again, and then add carbs back slowly to see if that will help speed up the slow time I am currently in.

It is weird because I did not feel I was hungry or depriving myself of food, I am always eating alot of veggies etc.

I've been stalled since Jan. fluctuating between a few pounds. I'm not sure if its b/c I'm close to my goal or not. I still eat no more than 20 carbs and havent cheated. I'm gonna try to lower my calories and up my cardio and see if that helps.

Well, for the first 6 months I lost an average of 60 lbs. Then for the next 6 months I have only lost 15 lbs. Right now I am trying to lose 5 lbs and the scale will not help. I have been trying to lose these 5 lbs for about a month now. I don't know what to do.

I have been pretty much stalled since February, right after my dad passed away. I have upped and lowered carbs, raised and lowered calories and picked up exercise, all to no avail. I ran across a picture online from 2 summers ago and I am now back to wearing the same shorts from then, so I may be at a weight that I stalled at going up. I'll just keep plugging away though...
