Default Please reccomend a book

I'm looking to buy a book for my mom for mother's day. She suffers from Fibromyalgia and would benefit from reading a good book on it/nutritional approaches. Can anyone reccomend a good book? Your favorite?

Thanks!
Molly

Molly I just read Dr. St.Amand's book called What Your Doctor Might Not Tell You About Fibromyalgia. It discusses a treatment protocol which many are getting amazing results with. It also encourages a special diet for controling hypoglycemia which is so very common in Fibromyalgia. Some people including doctors are under the false understanding that this treatment doesn't work but that was because the only official study done was horribly flawed. Dr.Amand has seen thousands of patients get well on it. It mught be worth a read. It isnt just a diet but a theory on what causes FM and a way to conter-act it. She may find it interesting.

I've just been reading 'An Idiots Guide To Fibromyalgia' in my local Waterstones store (UK). It looked about the best I've seen around and tells you how to cope with comments that people make as we don't 'look ill' and alternative therapys and how good they are, how to talk to an unsympathetic Dr. Exercise, diet etc. A good all rounder.
