Done that. Hope they do a balanced programme and not a load of un-informed urban myths and experts who know nothing but what they've heard about Induction!

Hi LittleAnne

No I didn't respond to the email, the questionnaire was posted to another lc list I am on and I thought I would pass it on hopefully to get as much positive response as possible. As I said, I'm doing Eat Fat Get Thin, and although I know a lot about Atkins, it wouldn't be right for me to answer the questionnaire myself. But all towards the promotion of low carb!

Yes, I hope that low carbers will get a better press than usual - I suppose the cynic in me (I'm British, aren't I?? ) thinks that low carbing will be at best misrepresented and at worst ignored, but it's a drip drip drip approach which I hope will eventually allow lc to be regarded as more mainstream.

I've just sent it off. It's obvious from all the questions about 'when you come off the diet' they don't know what the hell it's all about!

You fill in the form in the first post at the top of this thread and then email it off to the email address provided. The BBC will use the results in a programme they are doing in November.

Apparently these questionnaires are just a tiny part of the programme - the guy emailed me and said wait unti you see what the rest of the programme will be about! Can't wait! I do hope it's a 'blow the lid off the false accusations' type programme. I can only hope...

I replied to the email as well. As Robert pointed out some of the questions had me worried about the lack of research so i also put right some of the media myths about Atkins when they asked me for comments.

My thoughts, too, RCFletcher. those questions about 'when you come off the diet???' I sure hope enough people corrected them that you don't "come off" this way of eating otherwise the info is misleading.
