Default Ricotta Whip

I have made this for several years and its very good. However, the taste can very widely depending on the brand of ricotta you use.

I use 1 15oz container of Ricotta (Miceli's Brand)
1/2 cup of cream
15 drops of sweetzfree

Put all in blender until smooth. Yummy.

You could also used flavored syrup but I like it plain. Also, I didnt like the grainy texture of ricotta and that is why I decided to put it in the blender. It whips up creamy and smooth.

depending on what brand and how many servings you get out of it ( I got 5), its
5 carbs for 1/2 cup

Had some ricotta that I hadn't used and decided to try this. Didn't have any sweetzfree, so used Stevia instead. It was good, but because I sometimes have trouble with the texture of the ricotta (not the taste), after eating some last night, I decided I'd freeze it to make me feel like I'm eating ice cream. I'll taste it tonight and try to remember to let you know how it is.

Thanks for the recipe.

I know what you mean about the texture. Thats why I put my in the blender. It makes very smooth.

Did you put yours in the blender? Freezing it sounds like a great idea! Let me know how it turns out.
