I know, it irritates me greatly that my scale goes up and down like a yoyo. Usually it goes like that when I have been ultra good with my food too!
My weight was up loads at the begning of the week for example, like 6lbs over my low but today I only weigh in 1lb over. It doesn't make sense to me! lol

I have gotten more use to dealing with it now though, I just know it'll come back down and just stick it out, but when I was less experiencd it use to drive me nuts!!

i was looking for an active fat flush strand on this forum (since i've been here 3 divine years).. i am gonna switch to FF for awhile, maybe longer... anyone got any info for me on how well you do at first when you're already LC'ing? i mean, many people take off a huge amount of weight in the first 2 weeks of FF, but since i already don't eat the white junk, i wasn't sure what to expect for myself...... yes, i did buy and read the book this week.

(yes, i did see a FF forum in ivillage, but wanted to stay here if i could)

thanks

Hi Harrygirl,

I lost 19 lbs. on phase1 of the FFP, after having been cheat-free on lc for about two weeks or so. Remember I have a tremendous amount of weight to lose.

Good luck.

Hi everybody,I'm new here!I was wondering how many carbs are in phase one?I've been on Atkins '72 for the past 2 months, and while it works great,I want to transition over to Fat Flush, but I'm terrified of gaining weight back!If I go by the Atkins carb ladder,it could take quite awhile before I can have unlimited veggies everyday, lol!I was wondering does anyone have experience with this?Thank you so much!

Hi Chunkers,

I was eating around 100g carbs per day in phase 2. I'm unsure about P1, but it would be less because of the the lack of the P2 friendly carbs.

Hi folks,
I was thinking about trying the Fat Flush Plan but I don't know if I can hack the "no salt" thing. I love my sea salt! Would using a little sea salt on my eggs and meat really screw up the diet for me?

Cathy

Hi Cathy,
Do you have the FF book? You really need it to understand the why's behind the do's. Salt is not removed forever from FF, but from P1 it is and the book explains why. If salt is the deal breaker for you, I suppose you could try weaning yourself gradually down to a true pinch per day but ultimately, you may need to ask yourself this question:
Do you want to lose weight or do you want to eat salt?

Thanks for replying. Yes, I do have the book. I didn't realize the "no salt" thing was only for Phase 1. That seems more doable. Where does it say you can use salt in Phase 2?

Cathy

It doesn't. Salt, as a spice returns in P3. However, my point was that P1 - being the DETOX phase - it's most important to stick as closely as you can to the eating guidelines, otherwise - what's the point of trying to detox?
P2 is the weightloss phase. While you could choose to add a pinch of salt per day (ALG recommends a daily pinch of morton's canning salt for folks with low blood pressure - but that's her only concession), it's best to avoid it if your goal is weightloss and your BP is normal.
