Default WARNING: It can be emotionally hazardous to read your past journal entries

I refuse to be discouraged to realize I've only lost ten pounds since March. That is all.

No,not for me. It takes 20-25 pounds. I am down that much overall, but not since spring. On a happier note, I can now wear my dress boots, which were too tight a month or two ago. I will be happy to celebrate our first cool front when I get dressed for church tomorrow.

This thread prompted me to check my journal - just 10 pounds lost in the past year.

But on the good side, my blood sugar has come down to almost normal!

I did reall enjoy wearing them, thanks. I don't know why, but they were slightly tighter, but I zipped those suckers up. I feel sure it will just get better.

Feet are strange - at least mine are. I have a pair of expensive (for me) shoes that I bought 5 or 6 years ago. I've been very careful with them so they wouldn't wear out, but I can no longer wear them. I was over 200 pounds when I bought them & they were size 8 1/2. Now the rest of me is smaller, but I'm wearing size 9. I can't get my feet into the 8 1/2 any more.

Perhaps it's age? I know feet can spread out during pregnancy, but that was 25 years ago. If menopause has the same effect, that was also some years ago - 8-10 years.
