Default Low carb BBQ sauce with no/little artificial sweetener?

Has anyone found a decent low carb BBQ sauce that does not rely on (or rely heavily on) artificial sweeteners? I've been using lots of rubs, but would like to have a low carb sauce to use occasionally, whether store bought or homemade.

Thanks very much in advance!

Hi there Bglassbe -

I been using Walden Farms range of BBQ sauces.. they do several BBQ ZERO carb ones. I dont have one here atm so I cant tell you for sure if they use lots of sweetner but I would imagine most will.

By artificial sweeteners do you mean all sweeteners? Or are some forms acceptable to you? Stevia and erythritol are usually considered natural sweeteners. Usually the sweetness is to balance the tang/sour in BBQ sauce.

I usually just wing it with tomato sauce, vinegar, sweetener, salt and pepper -- sometimes a bit of molasses. Spice it up more with siracha, or red pepper flakes. Maybe some A1 sauce, tabasco, possibly fish sauce.

This is a great sauce to bbq and marinate chicken

I make big batches, the sauce will keep in your fridge for ever or until you use it up.
