Default sugar free yogurt?

Is there such a thing as sugar-free yogurt? So many carbs, mostly all from sugar.

I can't find any, even amongst the organic brands, so I've been making my own with just some good fresh fruit and whole-fat yogurt. If you get really ripe and good fruit, it should be pretty sweet!

Good luck --
Abby

"sugar-free" yogurt has no added sugar, but there will still be sugar (lactose) from the milk. Also sugar-free yogurt will probably be sweetened with aspartame. I mix yogurt, berries, pecans and a little stevia.

I haven't been able to find whole yogurt only low fat or fat free. Does anyone else have that problem?

I use 2 different brands of whole fat sugar free plain yogourt, but they're both Canadian - sorry! I just add some sweetener and berries.

I get my whole milk yogurt at the "health" food store. Ours is called the Natural Foods Co-op. The brand I use is Nancy's Organic Whole Milk Yogurt and it's yummy (they have about 4 different brands at the co-op, but I like Nancy's best). You're going to find that it is a regional thing, so the brand you find will probably be different that what I can get here.

Good luck!
