Thanks..that make him feel more comfortable with this!! I know every body reacts differently. Perhaps we'll begin on a weekend and see how it goes.

Now......I'm going to ask you for a HUGE favor!

My friend with the hemochromotosis is very interested in trying this! However...her "medically trained" mind would like to read up a little on these suppplements. I have already forwarded your links on D, Cal & Mag from the "Experiment" thread. Could you provide me with any links on the others:
oregano oil
omega oils
milk thistle
dandelion
alpha liporic acid

I know this is a lot to ask of you...but I seem to only be pulling up "sales" of these products when I do searches. If this is too much to ask....perhaps you can point me in the right direction to find it myself.

I am eternally in your debt for all the help you've been!!

I won't look up omega oils. You can do a search on their components borage oil, flaxseed oil, and fish oil. I'm more favorable to fish and borage oils than flaxseed oil.

I'm also an avid proponent of megadoses of vitamin C for all illnesses. Your friend will have evaluate the benefits of this on her own. Some practitioners recommend it for bringing the body back into balance, some say it helps the body absorb iron better and should be avoided. I'm in the first group.

Here's information on whats left:

Question supplements for diabetes

Gymnema,fenugreek,bitter melon,banaba

These supplements did not help my

Chromium pinolinate and alpha lipoic acid

I've found it has to be GTF chromium, not chromium picolinate. And the vitamin D is essential.

Default Question about Vitamin D

"I've found it has to be GTF chromium, not chromium picolinate. And the vitamin D is essential."
Thanks for the information,Zuleikaa.
I've switched over to GTF Chromium.
Since Vitamin D is fat soluble, should it be taken
with food?

Yes. D should be taken with food, preferable something with a bit of fat.
