Default Tips needed

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what type of food that can be eaten on the low-carb vegetarian WOL or direct me to a site that gives information on this matter.

I was on Atkins diet but I wish to start a vegetarian lifestyle.

I was a veggie for 6 years (recently moved to BC and with all the fresh fish here that killed my vegetarianism) so I'm accustomed to the trials and tribulations you are goign through. I tried atkins as a veggie and found it REALLY DIFFICULT. My suggestion, try South Beach instead. South Beach includes less fat and allows you to eat beans (the staple of a good vegetarian diet). On SB you can have tofu products, beeans, spaghetti squash all in phase 1. Even now on SB (still in P1) I eat a lot of vegetarian, and sometimes vegan dishes. I dn't miss the meat and I don't go hungry or lose any flavour.

That's just my $.02

Hi Zuleikaa,

I can eat fish but no cheese I have terrible sinus problem, not much egg.

Nefarious - I was planning to use south beach but I am afraid to put my credit number on the net and I live in Kingston Jamaica.

Presently, I am eating lots of raw veggie and calaloo soup (similar to your spinach)
Thanks.
