L-Carnatine and other Supplements????

I recently began taking L-Carnatine along with Flax see oil. Does anybody have any good resources on L-Carnatine? Does anybody else take it? How much do you take? What do you think about it? I purchased L-Carnatine at GNC. I know that there must be cheaper places that make a purer version. All the ones I seem to be finding on line have a lot of other ingredients. Thanks
