Default Tuna Melt

This is a variation of the tofu pizza recipe.

1 package of extra firm tofu, frozen, then thawed (it is suppose to make the tofu more firm)
2 6oz cans tuna
mayo as needed
5 slices of American/cheddar cheese
2 tbsp of vegetable oil

Turn the tofu on its side and slice it into 5 equal pieces. You want the slices to look like slices of bread. Place the slices in paper towels and press lightly, but firmly to press out the excess water. In a skillet, heat the oil and place the tofu pieces in and fry, flipping when brown on the underside. When the tofu has browned on both sides, place the tofu on a baking sheet. Combine the tuna and mayo to taste. Divide the tuna mixture into 5 parts and top the tofu with it. Place a slice of cheese over the tuna. Broil until the cheese melts.
