Exclamation WARNING: Soy use may cause Brain Atrophy!

Do a find (select the Edit tab at the top of your browser and then select find) and look for Soy.

hi Tim,

It seems the link in your post doesn't work. However, the concern about soy and brain shrinkage is not new. In fact, we had a discussion about it 2 yrs ago .. folks can read about it here.

Thanks Doreen.

the site is Dr. Andrew Weil's online Q&A newsletter.

As a new soy user, I had never heard of this, and I freaked out big time! LOL

I quit weatring meat because everyone kept telling me about the dangers of eating meats, and then afterI became a Vegetarian, I saw this and I thought:
"I can't win for losing!"

I don't eat meat but eat fish, cheese and eggs for protein. I used to eat Tofu and soy products but after reading a health warning in the book 'The Diet Cure' by Julia Ross I eat them only very occasionally. I have looked at various articles on the internet both for and against soy and I am unsure if it is Ok to eat. So unless I get some convincing evidence that it is not harmful, I am not going to start eating it again in great quantities.

I hope I haven't added to your dilemma now but I guess I am looking for an answer, too...
