Question How many true CADers are there out there?

Hello there everyone!
I figure you've heard this before, but this forum seems a bit sparse. One of the benfits of the LC forum is regular support. I am currently working on a plan that suits me. I realize that what I'm trying now, sounds very CADish. I'll look at the book again soon. I'm BASICALLY eating low carb during the day, but have a more carby meal in the evenings. I do this not because I know it's 'better' healthwise. I do it because I am a Carb Addict and I'm trying to find something that fits me. I do eat more frequently and in smaller portions and workout regularly by lifting weights.
So, on to my question:
By the show of a post, how many committed CADers are there on this forum?

Thx

Hello Natz,
I have been following CAD for close to a year and this has worked very well for me but like you said you need to make it work for you. I pretty much eat chicken or turkey during the day (about 7 oz total) then eat what I want for dinner, I do start out my dinner with a large salad then proceed to eat whatever I want. Now my portion sizes vary, sometimes I eat a lot and sometimes just a little. I do work out, but as of summer I have slacked off due to kids being out of school. It is just harder to fit in the gym when they are home but as soon as school starts back I'll be back at the gym. I do have a treadmill that I use at home. This is a great program and I have done pretty well keeping the wt off. I am a CADer for life, it is nice to find something that works, that I can do with ease. I do drink diet drinks during the day but do find it makes me hungry at times, I just ignore the hunger and it goes away, I drink a lot of water too. Hope this helps and goodluck with the program it is something that you will have to work with to find what works for you.
Pam
Ps: I normally only eat 3Xs per day, sometimes only 2Xs. It just depends on what I am doing and if I am busy.

Count me in. Not losing much if at all right now-- no pounds that is, but I'm a full 2 sizes smaller than this time last year (but only a pound or two lighter). Hey- I'm 5-4 and happy to be a size six. I eat basically according to the CAD book, the earlier one, but I do have diet sodas during the day and don't get those weird cravings any more. Drink lots of water and work out daily too. I have to say I love CAD. Been on for almost six months and see no reason to ever stop... Good luck to you, too! -- Cathy

Me! Albeit, I started on the Zone May 18, lost about 3 lbs in 5 weeks, then switched over to CALP. It's been smooth sailing and for the first time ever I don't have cravings controlling my life! It's a plan I can really get excited about..prior to this I was having such bad cravings I was eating frosting out of the container
Will never look back!

Thanks Amy.
I saw that thread later on. But I'm still wondering how many of those folks are still CADing. some seem to be on other plans now.

I switched from Atkins to CALP on July 4th. I lost 40 pounds on Atkins, then put most of it back. Hope this one works forever! So far I am down 6 pounds and really not hungry. I like this WOE and think it is the easiest to follow. Sometimes you just need to be able to eat what the normal people are eating!

I do CAD/CALP. I've been on seriously for 6 months and have lost 17 lbs. I have trouble with major weight fluctuation so I'm finding myself in a yo-yo pattern at the moment. I am working on it, tweaking as needed.
