I am doing CAD and also seem to be lethargic. What causes that? My mind is better because I don't think about food all the time, but I do seem to lack energy. Suggestions?

I think anytime you change you eating in a major way your energy will lag. I didn't feel very good the first week or so of CALP, and then I felt fantastic. Make sure you drink lots of wtaer and that you are eating enough!

Thanks! Maybe the change is part of the problem. I am definitely eating enough! ugh! Probably too much at the RM. And yes, taking lots of vits--always have. Very conscientious about that. Thanks so much for the input!

I had the same problem..I think because I lost my appetite, I wasn't eating enough at the cm's and not drinking enough water. I tell you I got sick of salad, salad, salad. So, this time, I'm going to eat cm grilled vegies more.

I am losing my appetite and you would think that would be wonderful, but....
I am also seem to be depressed but I don't know if it's the diet or other things. I am working on more water. Last night I skipped dinner. I never do that. (I had the RM at lunch). I also get sleepy after the RM--too much sugar no doubt.
Every day I make myself recommit to this. It does funny things to you physically.... Tell me this will pass...

It did pass for me- I feel really good and 'normal' on this. You may want to experiment with what you are eating for CM and RM- you may be having things that are triggering weird feelings or reactions.
If you post it may help us-

I agree with Eno, I ended up going off the plan at 157 because I was feeling the same way. I should have worked through it, ate a little more at cm or drank more water..As I said I got really sick of salads. I'm not a salad lover like my mom was..I do love vegetables so I should have just switched to low carb grilled ones. This time I'm not stopping it. It was the only plan that ever worked for me...since I've been older.
