Default Another neuropathy question

My toes have been fairly numb for a while - reminds me of how my face feels with Novocain. But when the nurse practitioner checked them at the last visit, they tingled. I meant to ask if this was a good sign or a bad one, but I forgot. Anyone know?

Do you have arthritis in your hands and toes ?
What is your B12 level ?
Is it every toe ? on both sides ?
What makes it better or worse ?
Fairly symmetrical ?
Did you pass the microfilament test ?
How are your A1c scores ?

I dont know if tingles are better than numb. Probably doesnt matter. I sometimes think that "any change" in Neuropathy is good because bad neuropathy doesnt improve or change much.

When I was first diagnosed with diabetes and then lowered my blood sugar fairly quickly, I got tingling toes. Actually, some burning too. I guess my feet gradually had gotten numb before that, and I just hadn't noticed. I interpreted it as a good sign in my case.
