Default Reward meal for breakfast

Any one do that? It would work best for my life....but I keep reading other's posts about needing space between meals?? I have read the book...but I am wondering and maybe being unnecesarily confused about some of the post I have read........

If I DO use breakfast as my RM, it will not change very often.....sigh..I hope this made sense.....

Yummy! Reward meal breakfasts are great. Personally, I prefer to do it at dinner time...I guess that "having dessert" thing is ingrained. When I've done it as breakfast (rarely) I have noticed that it isn't really balanced, but it is definitely a treat.

If you do your RM as breakfast regularly, you will need to find a way to get in lots of vegetables. Technically, your RM is supposed to include a salad PLUS 1/3 of your plate being veggies. Salad for breakfast doesn't appeal to many people, so you may need to have a lot of sauteed green and red peppers on your plate or something...that tends to go well with eggs, which can be your protein. Then you can have your goodie--a piece of French toast or a few pancakes or whatever. Yummy yummy, now I'm hungry.

Breakfast RM is posssible. It is just not the choice of most people. You also have to be aware that often carbs at breakfast or earlier than 10:30-11:00 am set up cravings for the rest of the day.

Oops,,forgot to say that my "breakfast" is usually around 12:00-1:00 in the afternoon, due to my job hours. THen "lunch" around 4pm and dinner around 8pm.......I work VERY late..........and my breakfast is usually NOT breakfast...more lunch food than anything......I just don't want my carby meal at work, in the eve, at around 8pm........

I think that your schedule would allow for a RM breakfast. RM breakfasts have never worked for me, but I eat my breakfast at breakfast. Can you get some salad and veggies in at your noon meal?

Welcome to the group! And congrats on your weight loss so far!
