Question soy flour

In the original book, The CAD, it gives a lot of recipies that are made with soy flour. I think I remember reading something somewhere else recently about how you are not supposed to use soy flour anymore on this diet. Can someone clarify this for me? I would like to try some of the recipies if I can. Thanks.

Soy flour seems to be a YMMV thing, it stallers many CADers. That's why many CADers suggest you leave all the fake foods alone and just have protein and veggies for CMs.

Default soy flour

As for soy flour, diet soda, lo carb bars, and lo carb chocolate- these are things I only use for desprate times.

I figure I'll be able to have what I want at my reward meal, so why put fake-y stuff in my body when a reward is always under 24 hours away!

Default About soy flour

I have been eating the spice muffin variation under the muffin recipe for well over a week at breakfast and have been losing weight. I may be one of the people who can have soy flour and it not affect. I like the muffins because it cuts down on the eggs a day. 2 muffins has only 1 egg . I spread with Log Cabin sugar free syrup and have a little cheese and breakfast meat of some kind and I stay hunger free all morning.Or I use sugar free jam. It doesn't seem to hinder my weight loss. Also I recommend Arrowhead Mills soy flour. It doesn't have that funny taste. I also made a batch and took to Virginia for my breakfast .To heat up I recommend your oven. They taste crispy and fresh as opposed to the microwave.Wawtigress
