Default Fit Day

I had the following today for breakfast:

1 cup non fat yougurt
1/2 apple
3 1/2 slices turkey bacon
2tbs heavy cream in coffee

Is this breakfast in the zone?

The percentages at fitday.com don't come out right.

Question let me see if I can help

For all of the above you should read your food labels. But as a general guide.

3 1/2 slices of Turkey Bacon - 1 P, 2 F
1 c Non-Fat Yogurt- 2 P
1/2 Apple- 1 C
2 TB (which equals 1 oz) Heavy Cream- 4 F

*Try to use 2 TB of half and half instead. That would equal 1F.
Also, you are missing 2 carb blocks. Maybe have a whole apple which equals 2C and a block of grapes. That would then Zone out your meal perfectly.

Write out your meals they way I did for awhile. It will help you get use to it. Start w/ your protein, then carb, and finally fat.

Hope this helped!

Looks good to me! I know you're using that cream up from being on ATkins and I can't blame you - boy I did like that part of the program...

You got it girlies. Let me correct myself by saying that you have filled your carb blocks. But the heavy cream is still causing the over-flow of fat blocks

When I was on Atkins, my favorite drink was a Large Breve Latte, (Breve is basically a latte made with half and half instead of milk.)

I would order this decaf and with heavy cream instead of the half and half! It was delicious!!

When I would go into Starbucks some would be really confused and others would know exactly what I was talking about.
