I searched this article and your site but came up with nada, so here is a question for Brandon - any issues with loose skin? If so, how much. I know no one ever asks this question! LOL - thanks for being so open about your weight loss, you guys rock~!

Scratchems- Brandon really doesn't have any loose skin. He still has a little belly though, so there may be a little bit there once it's gone. If there will be any, it'll be very minor. He has been working out heavily - 3 times a week with a trainer and 3 on his own- for a year now. He is solid as a rock. He is at 200 right now and his goal was 210. He has now decided to go for 180 and see what he wants to do from there. I should get a new photo of him.

I read this at work, and linked my Fiance to this story. We work 2 floors apart so we usually eat breakfast and lunch at work together.
I have been trying to get him to the LC side, telling him eating whole foods is way better for your health than eating whole grains and going by that low fat low cal stuff.. He was kind of understanding and did end up cutting out most sugar. He would look at labels and say "Too much added sugar. I don't want this".. After linking him toyour story, he messaged me and said, "I want to do what they did. I want to only shop on the outside of the store." Instead of saying "DUH! That's what I've been trying to tell you!" I said, "That sounds wonderful! I used to do that a lot when I was really into LCing. We can do this together!" He is really excited about this.
We are both so excited. He has maybe 20 pounds to lose if he puts on muscle, and I, for now, want to lose only 20 pounds but will continue to lose weight depending on how I feel/look. Thanks for posting your story and all the pics!! They are SOOOO inspiring and your posts are always very insightful, too. Makes me want to kick myself for losing 30 pounds a few years back and then gaining most of it back. Had I stayed on, I probably would be at a normal weight now.

Thanks krystalr! That is awesome! I told my wife that I do not want to have surgery, so it is nice to see people with results who do not have the sagging skin problem.

We are still trucking along. I have been maintaining now for quite some time (which is just as big of an achievement as losing it!), and my husband is still losing. He had adjusted his goal down to 180, and he's approaching 190 right now...that puts him at nearly 150lbs down now. I couldn't be more proud of him.
