Post Pine Mouth

I`v stepped on yet another LC "landmine"

having just roasted a lovely beef joint to enjoy, I thought it had gone off and had to call my wife to try it because it tasted bitter!

in fact earlier that day I`d had other bitter taste experiences but thought nothing of it really.
but This with the beef and even the stock was beyond a joke, and had me worried for a bit that maybe I`d taken a contaminated Vit tablet that I bought today, or was it the L Glutamine? perhaps I`d O.D`d on Zinc or something?

so I googled it, "everything tastes bitter", and a few sites down I read about Pine Nuts

here`s an article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/a...tter-taste.html

well I remember eating a handfull or 7 yesterday afternoon, and noticing that they tasted really sweet.
apparently, this effect should get worse next day, and could last up to 2 weeks

so anyway, if this happens to anyone else here in future, a simple search should bring up this thread, and reasure you that it is a Known problem, and seems to be quite harmless albeit annoying, and it is temporary.
